1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old and have the consent of a legal guardian if you're under 18 years old to use our services.
2. Account Registration
To use our service, you need to create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Your journal entries and generated tasks are linked to your account.
3. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. For our pay-as-you-go plan, billing is calculated based on word count, where one word is defined as any 5 characters including whitespace, punctuation, and all other characters.
You may request a refund within 14 days of any payment. Refund requests must be submitted through our support channels and will be processed through the original payment method.
Should we discontinue our services, we will provide pro-rated refunds for any remaining time on active subscriptions. This refund policy applies only to subscription-based plans and explicitly excludes one-time purchases, which are non-refundable in the event of service discontinuation.
By using our service, you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe for all applicable fees. You are responsible for providing valid payment information and ensuring sufficient funds are available.
4. Services
Our platform provides the following core services:
- Daily journal entry submission and storage
- Automated task generation from journal entries using AI analysis
- Task management and organization tools
5. AI Processing
Your journal entries are processed using OpenAI's services to generate tasks and insights. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your journal entries will be transmitted to OpenAI for processing
- The AI-generated tasks are suggestions and may not perfectly reflect your intentions
- You should review all AI-generated content before acting on it
6. User Content
You retain ownership of your journal entries and any other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process, analyze, and store your content for the purpose of providing our services.
While we implement security measures to protect your content, you should not include sensitive personal information, financial details, or protected health information in your journal entries.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for:
- Accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated tasks
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Any actions taken based on AI-generated suggestions
8. Data Usage and Storage
We store your journal entries and generated tasks to provide our services. Details about data collection, storage, and processing are available in our separate Privacy Policy.
9. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your journal entries within 30 days.
10. Service Availability
While we strive for reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Service availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ingolstadt, Germany. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ingolstadt, Germany.
